im particularly excited about karazhan tower. i was able to swap around some model files back when it wasnt nerfed and i was able to go inside. the tower is huge, its about as high as BRM and has i would say 10-20 different floors each about twice as big as the twin emps room maybe larger. it also has severl rooms expading out from teh main hall ways and has a second smaller tower split off about half way up.
when i first went in i thought it was a 40 man. thats how big it is. |

This looks like good news since I was thinking of the same idea telling Floriara and Tristie about it 2 months ago....
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=31213841&pageNo=1&sid=1#0
Most of the BC dungeon loot will be token based (like ZG, AQ, etc) rather than set based (like MC and BWL). Not every piece will be treated this way (tier 4, we know, will mostly drop in Karazhan), but the devs see it as a better alternative to getting a bunch of druid drops on a run where you forgot to bring a druid.
Quote: |
The devs general philosophy is to aim more towards token systems for gear and armor sets. If you were to receive reputation tokens or some such item from a boss, which could then be spent on the item of your choice, a number of good things could come of that.
You could maintain demand for dungeon loot by having it be usable for everyone.
You decrease the quantity of shards/nexus crystals being pushed into the market, because less gear is being disenchanted.
You decrease the chance of seeing an item drop, that you already have/don't want, repeatedly.
Granted, I don't think every piece of loot is going to be treated this way, but we are looking to provide players with more tailored methods of loot acquisition.

AQ20 spell books are going to be obsolete. These spells will be available at the trainers.... So if you're doing AQ20 for the books, you can't stop going.
If you're going for the repts or enchants, then thats not so bad. |

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere or already by any website... But here's a direct link:
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/burningcrusade/townhall/professions.html
Can't seem to get it from their main page so must be still unannounced.
Kind of interesting to read about stuff....
"Tailoring
Tailoring doesn't have many powerful high-end items, so more are being added for the expansion. You will also be able to specialize in one of three types of tailoring. As with alchemy, each specialization of tailoring will give you a chance to make more of a base material than you'd normally obtain. Also, tailors will be able to make and use a nifty consumable item that should prove to be especially useful in PvP situations – the thrown net!"
3 new specialization.... |

I started to type up the various new enchants you can learn from the trainer but my computer locked up as I was nearly done and ready to hit submit.
Gonna retype that later...
But there are definitely lots of cool new enchants to get!
Apprently there will be some sort of enchantment for rings too! Rare receipes! |

morluck is hard at work. ive continued leveling and as i get healthier ill level quicker. level 63 now 1/3 the way to 64. i found this haxx0r level spot where you kill the mobs, and if you stand on the body it gives you a 5% bonus attitribute buff THAT STACKS for 5 mins. i had 8 5% attitribute, put me at about 650 int and 12000 mana. lol. (if your wondering i did send a /suggestion that it was overpowered/broken so maybe itll get fixed)
i entered the second instance for the first time and it looks P-I-M-P. it has multiple instances in it(i think4) with scaling difficulties. you have to enter it through an underwater tunnel. i didn't think i was going to make it tbh. the boss's were extremely tough and we actually wiped multiple times(it was a pug but we were decently geared). ill have to run it more later and try and figure out better strats because we wiped twice on the second boss before fluke killing him with just me alive and the third boss we just wiped until i was red. ill try and take some screenshots next time through. |

This post is a list of all the enchants provided by the Grand Master Enchanter:
(does not include receipes from vendors or recipes found. at least not yet.)
All of these enchants now have an item requirement of 35 or above. So no more twinking lowbie items.
Runed Fel Iron Rod - (gonna need a blacksmith to make me Fel Iron Rod)
Enchant Bracers - Assault = Attack Power +24
Enchant Chest - Restore Mana Prime = 6+ Mana per 5 secs.
Enchant Gloves - Major Strength = +15 STR
Enchant Bracers - Brawn = +12 STR
Enchant Bracers - Major Intellect = +12 INT
Enchant Gloves - Blasting = +10 Spell Crit Strike rating.
Enchant Cloak - Greater Agility = +12 AGIL.
Enchant Cloak - Major Armor = 120+ Armor
Enchant Shield - Tough Shield = +18 Block value
Enchant Bracers - Stats = +4 to all Stats
Enchant Chest - Exceptional Health = +150 HP
Enchant Chest - Major Spirit = +15 SPRI
Enchant Gloves - Assault = +30 Attack Power
Prismatic Sphere = Creates a Prismatic Sphere out of four large prismatic shards.
Void Sphere = Creates Void Sphere out of two void crystals.
Those last two, is kind of weird... Not sure if they're making requirements for enchanters to be the only folks to do conversions or not. (meaning clicking on 3 lesser nether essence to become 1 greater nether essence and vice versa.) Or possibly Prismatic Sphere and Void Sphere are like the new reagents for some other professions (like enchanted leather etc.) |

Been reading on the BETA forum that they bumped the XP earnings in BETA just to get people to 70 faster...
Which means those numbers in my posting about how many hours etc it takes to get to 61 is not going to be the actual number. Poo! Hopefully this isnt the case for the Reputation. Cuz I really want that Enchant that requires revered rept.
Gonna suck if I have to grind and grind to get rept. Couldnt find anything that looks like a turn-in for rept. Closest thing I found is PVP tokens to buy this thing called Honor Hold Favor. Requires 5 tokens to get it, and its a 30 minutes use to boost your rept gain for killing monsters by 25%.

yeah i saw that aswell. i think that made me quite sad:( but oh well hopefully it won't be 2 bad as leveling with 230209432090 other people will make it longer then it already is.
the arena system looked fun to me other then i had a gimp ass partner(the same guy both times) the times i tried it. crowd control looks like it wins.
ill get some better pics of the first part of the second instance tonight hopefully(slave pens) and maybe the second part(underbog) |

More on enchanting:
http://beta.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=220068&sid=1
Enchant Weapon - Battlemaster
Requires Runed Arcanite Rod
Permanently enchant a melee weapon to occasionally heal the entire party of 50 health over 10 seconds when an enemy is struck. Requires Level 35 item.
12 Large Prismatic Shards
6 Greater Planar Essences
20 Primal Water
I think the above enchant is going to sooo rock.
Enchant Weapon - Spellsurge
Tools: Rune Adamantite Rod
Reagents: Large Prismatic Shard (12), Greater Planar Essence (10), Arcane Dust (20)
Permanently enchant a Melee Weapon to have a 3% change on spellcast to restore 100 mana to all party members over 10 seconds.
Requires a level 35 or higher item. |

those enchants kick ass. my only complaint if your going to have alot of rogues/warriors complain about having to get that enchant on their weapon especially the second one. |

This is the part where I break down and cry...
Pattern: Imbued Netherweave Bag is a receipe you can buy off a vendor in the Shattrath City market. And there is an unlimited supply. 3.6g to buy.
It is 18 slot bag....
My bottomless bag market is going to be obsolete.
Though, the mats for it I have not seen yet. Not sure if they're rare mats or not at this point...
Bolt of Imbued Netherweave (4), Netherweb Spider Silk (2), Greater Planar Essence. (the bag is bind on equipped, similar to bottomless bag. so no refunds. ) |
