I like frost for tbc. I like spell power, PoM, and arcane power in arcane tree but the rest is disappointing... especially arcane potency... full 3 pts are just 3% increase in crit chance. I do recommend spell power if you're planning for deep arcane build. Why miss out on one of the best mage talent if you're putting so many pts in arcane?
I think with frost, you have good balance of dps and survivability. I like how blazing speed removes snares now, but you can't beat ice block. Also with increased importance of pvp in tbc (according to blizzard anyways), I think deep frost build is the best for pvp/pve balance. |

haha..
frost is just better overall for leveling/pvp(only place its not better is raiding) but i have an urge to be different, an ugre to be something else.
It's items like this that give me hope

that is a nice trinket... dunno how other +damage trinkets stack up in TBC... I prefer consistant damage as always.
ya... I'm trying out frost spec right now... I really miss burst damage in fire.. especially in pvp... it takes 3 frostbolt to finish off someone whereas I used to 2 shot with fire. Molten fury crit is really nice... pretty close to 4k. I said I'm going frost but I might go back to fire. |
